New kids aren’t cool.

Everyone knows that.

Eleven-year-old Sam is the new kid at school but he has a plan, or two, or three to make himself the most popular kid ever.

What you are about to read is unforgettable (lonely losers, frog underpants, human umbrellas, bad boys …).

It’s bumpy (jumping out a window is never a good idea).

It’s the story of a kid who wants to be more.

About the Author

James O’Loghlin has been a comedian, a criminal lawyer, an ABC radio and TV presenter and a speaker on innovation.

He is the author of The Adventures of Sir Roderick, the not-very Brave; Daisy Malone and the Blue Glowing Stone; and The Twins of Tinterfell. In 2014 The Adventures of Sir Roderick won the Speech Pathology Australia award for the best book for 8 to 10 year olds. It was also shortlisted for the NSW Premier’s Literary Awards.
